We are breeders of standard,longhaired dachshunds and are located in eastern Ontario,Canada.We are a relatively small kennel situated on a rural property just south of Ottawa/north of Brockville.
I grew up with a standard smooth black and tan dachshund and had always wanted to go back to the breed.When I was ready-I researched all 3 coats and 2 sizes but it was love at first sight when I saw Star,the standard longhaired girl who was to become the foundation of my kennel.
We have grown our little kennel but our dogs are still "house dogs".They enjoy their fenced yard in the country but still expect their daily walks.
Good health and good temperament are very important in our breeding program.Conformation and adherence to breed standard is what we strive for.Our dogs compete in the show ring and we  also take part in other fun activities for the breed such as agility and scent detection.
